It’s supposed to snow tomorrow. Wow, I really want to be done with this design challenge. 2 months and a week in and I’m like, I don’t want to do this anymore. I’m not even doing typography anymore. I feel like for the interest of time/ because I need to submit some stuff, I should probably stop sooner rather than later.

As I’ve said before referencing the Wizard of Oz. Everything you need is already inside so that means that whatever I think feels right, I should probably just do that.

So I think I’ve decided that on Monday that I’m going to stop making something everyday so that I can focus on what needs to get done. Or I might just keep doing it. So from Monday to Feb 7th, I’ll just focus on what app needs to be done. I think I’ll still post here everyday just as a good reflection space though.

Hmm, what else has been going on.

I’ve been talking to someone that I’m interested in. Going well so far. Good pace. Not even stressing that I don’t get a response every minute because communication needs space to breathe.

So I did almost everything on my list except work on other apps. Pretty good.

My mentee is a little lost right now, but who isn’t. We’re in the same boat, just on different ends of it. I was trying to explain and encourage him/ give him some pointers, but it’s hard to give out advice when you’re stressed too.

I didn’t get to shoot as much film today.

Life is 80% how you respond. I haven’t been responding very well. The last 2 months were pretty good with regard to motivation. Now I’m barely holding on. I really just need to make it to the end of the month for this design challenge so that I can take a break and not really think too much. I think I’ll still post a blog post, but when it comes to making, I think output should probably be 2-3 times a week?

We’ll see. Night~

A little better

I had a good conversation with my friends yesterday. I realized that I’m starting to burnout with this design everyday challenge so I’ve decided that once I’ve hit 80 days which happens to be Jan 31st which also happens to be my half birthday, that I’ll take a break for a week and come back to this. Reason why I want to hit 80 is because the challenge is usually 40 day challenges. It’s fitting that I end on my half birthday so that I can take a break and reassess what I’ve been doing.

So I’m not posting tonight for skrrt issue 6 because I’m tired and don’t feel like I have something to show this week. I want to still show something, but I don’t have anything. I do have images and things that I can put together, but I don’t want to do that right now.

My body wants sleep and I got to give it to them.
